For those of you that have hung in here with me from the beginning, and those who have joined us along the way - many of you already know that I was attacked in my home in January of 2002. I guess it goes without saying that our lives became a living nightmare, and there is no way I could have gotten through it all without the love and support of my friends and family.  And to each of you -Thank you ... for your patience, and continued support and encouragement.  All of you continue to be a shining beacon to my family. PLEASE NOTE:   The Petition is no longer active.  At it's conclusion, we gathered over 60,000 signatures from around the world.  Thanks go out to each of you.  Today, animal abuse in Virginia is now a felony after the second offense.  With the continued efforts of people like each of you, this is only the beginning of many huge victories in our fight against animal abuse.

Hi Everyone and Welcome to Animal Abuse Alert! Many of you already know me - but for those who don't, Hi and Welcome!  My name is Lennie, I'm 19 years old, a freshman in college.  This is my site, and although it's been three years since all of this first began, there's one thing I know for sure - and that's that I wouldn't do anything any differently. My only regret is that I couldn't do anything in time to have prevented this tragedy from happening. I would like to apologize in advance if we don't get back with regular updates as often as we would like to.  I'm now away at college, and that throws the upkeep of all of our sites back completely on Mom, and the fact is, there are only so many hours in the day. So if we have omitted something, or if you need more information or just have a question, please feel free to email either Mom or myself.
